The Achievement Gap

1.what do you think cause the achievement gap? the students because they dont try to learn at thier full patential.

2.What can students do to close this gap? try harder and study before a test.

3.What can parents do? they could support them with their work. Help them with thier homework when they are joung. and read books to them when thier small.

4.What can teachers/schools do? the schools can support the students with better school supplies, the teachers could pay more attention to their students, the teachers could make learning better

1. What do you think of mr. Hayden? Hayden looked like he had many stories, and smart.

2. Tom hayden does not think of himself as a civil rights leader. do you see him as one? Why or why not? i do not think tom hayden is a civil rights leader because i feel like he has not gone beyond like other civil rights leader.

3. tom hayden feels that leaders are not as important as the hundreds or thousands of people behind them. what does he mean by that. he means that the leaders would not be so strong if the people wouldnt be behind him supporting them.

yesterday animo venice had there first game and it was really tough. i played yesterday and i know what i am talking about. playing in front of the whole school get you really nervous. at first your all calm but when you enter the school and seeing really tall people you get nervous and i think that is the reason we lost. there was a moment when the other team got a little scared of us because we were going to score a goal. the school soccer team needs a little more practice i think we need to learn how to play as one.

the sign stop hurting your self means dont do things that your body cant handle. like using drugs or drinking to much, things that are not good for your body. why hurt your self if you know it will afect you in the future. dont do things that are bad just to get somebodies attention because there are consequences.
